The Pool complex is so amazing, it deserves its own page! Enjoy these photos. There are plenty of sun beds and, even in August, you don't need to get up early to reserve a bed. 2 lifeguards are on duty at all times in high season.
Water Chute and slides.
One of the shallower pools has two slides in it, with a wooden climbing frame, and is perfect for younger children. Right next to that pool is a powered water chute, open for several hours every day and properly monitored by a lifeguard.
Setting and landscape
As Imperial Park is above the town, there are stunning views from the pool complex, which is set in beautiful grounds.
There are several waterfalls, one of which you can walk behind. In high season there is an island bar and seperate cafe for light lunches and whole roast chickens.
The pools open at 10am, meaning that nobody can reserve a bed any earlier, although sun worshipers can sit on the terraces as early as they like!
There are even a couple of small, grassed garden areas where you can spend a quieter day in the sun if you wish.
